Yagi Antennas
Invented in 1926 by Shintaro Uda and Hidetsugu Yagi, this technology was first widely used in World War II for airborne radar. Yagi-Uda antennas are also widely used by amateur radio operators worldwide for communication on frequencies from shortwave, through VHF/UHF, and into microwave bands. Adapted for Cellular Signal, Yagi antennas utilize a directional approach to communicating with cellular towers.
